Refund policy

Every Art House piece is made to order and painted from your photograph. Because each piece is made to your specification, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB, Art. 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU) and pieces cannot be returned. Paintings from EUR 1,000: the balance is due within 14 days of the finished-piece photo; if it is not paid after a reminder we may withdraw from the contract and the deposit is not refunded. There is no deadline for sending the photograph; the order stays open until it arrives, and payment is not refunded because a photograph has not been sent. If a piece arrives damaged, write to us as soon as possible with photographs of the packaging and the piece; we look at each case individually. Your statutory warranty rights are unaffected.
